I can't believe you're using my tire break down method with sizzer jack attached to vehicle! Be careful! Ive got patent pending! Hahaha! I'm having trouble with 88' GW ignition key switch not working at on position except lower dash lights a fuel pump functioning? I'm going through all electrical connections now! Have you had this problem with switches not functioning an no engine start, no headlight?
@@timbarnett3898 make sure the kill switch is functioning properly. I’ve had issues with past bikes where kill switch was the culprit but I would spray some wd40 in ignition switch and push pull the key few times through it to make sure the wd40 reach all the spots inside. Might be a dirty connection inside. Wouldn’t hurt to take ir apart and clean it but it shouldn’t have that big of an issue. Maybe check the fuses?
How does the ride compare to the S10? Ive been looking at these bike for some time...S10 or royal star, primarily road cruising bike.
@@jburgess5 totally different animals. S10 is like a tractor , comfortable enough to get you anywhere anytime. Royal Star is for people who don’t want to leave their couch but want to ride lol. Royal Star isn’t fast it won’t surprise you at all but with the right set of pipes your presence will be known. Slow and loud lol. I didn’t like the Royal star because of the low clearance, I would scrape everywhere especially with a passenger . It was really comfortable though
Thank You so mutch. 👍
@@MagnusTörnstrand you’re welcome!
Thank the Lord you aight bruh they do not pay attention at all thats why when i see oncoming traffic on my bussa i be flashing the lights with that pass button
Just what I needed, ordered a new Wilbers shock and springs/oil for the front a while back because I could feel the suspension was end of life. Today the rear shock gave up the ghost, had a proper bouncy ride home. Luckily the shock and springs are already in the mail, hopefully the Gen3 won't be too different from this and it'll be a quick fix :)
What is the extra tube on the bottom with the grey cover
Drain tube
How deep do you have to drill? Or is it literally just opening the holes?
what did u pay 4 it??? loking at the same bike
Paid $800 few years ago
Do you still have your bike?
Remove the ABS-Sensor at first.....makes the life much easyer..... Greetings from a veeery happyFJR owner 🙃
What stupid idiot driver I had one flock me off and honk repeatedly aggressively for simply going around them
Bes sounding flat 6 I've heard so far
Thank you!
Sounds excellent! What model did you buy (pipes), their website only shows up to 1000cc.
Got them from here. Make sure you select right and left pipes they sell separate. a.aliexpress.com/_mMaGYoe
What the fuck is that intersection???
A bad one lol
Slowing down for that crappy intersection. Smart move rider.
Does it fit on a ninja 650 2024?
It should but check description in Amazon store
You should be the one to pay attention 😂😂 LMAO
I did and why you said that? Isn’t enough to follow the road signs and rules?
@@MotoRoUsano it's clear your fault, u should slow down and made a precaution, u already seen a car turn left and u should expect another. 😂
@@jesusballesteross.c.3538 have you looked at the speed limit sign and my gauges? Clearly I’m going under and started engine breaking before I got there. Stop being a keyboard warrior and pay attention to details.
@@MotoRoUsaIt's a far distance that u seen the intersection but u only go slow when u are near? Watch ur own video my boy
@@jesusballesteross.c.3538 I was going under the speed limit to begin with, as I was approaching the intersection I slowed down just because how dangerous that intersection is. Wasn’t at fault, I had priority so I wasn’t doing anything wrong. Stop virtual riding for people and get out there in real life.
did you balance the rear tire
I used balancing beads. No weights needed. No vibration either and had it up to 110mph
@@MotoRoUsa cool... never used them... I will have to look into them.... no chance for a lost weight sounds good to me! do you use them in the front too?
Fuvk man 😢 Im scared after watching this
There was a police chase going on in the background
Hi, I am planning to do the same thing, but I think you can skip some struggle by simply removing the wheel fender and the tubes of the fork from triple clamp. Also, to install the bottom race you can invent some sort of press with a long big screw and sockets at the end, tighten a pulley on that screw will pull the bearings in? I also preffer wacking them but underneed there is a bit scary. At least your wobble without hands at low speed was gone after this? Thanks for video! I do the same and my "shop" looks the same. :D Edit:... a long screw with a big pulley at the end is the actual axle of the fork> :D
Yeah there’s methods to do it, I didn’t want to bother and I thought was a bit less of a struggle than what it was. Actually the wobble was gone, but I also changed the front tire. I’m sure it was a combination of both!
@@MotoRoUsa I did it today, I installed the all balls ones. I managed to remove the lower inner race by heating it and knock it with a chisel, little by little in 10mins it was out. Also thanks to your video I didn't forget to put the bottom seal!! :D. Yep, the PIA was to put the outer lower race in the frame neck. It took me 1-2h of swearing and a combination of hits with a large socket and the old race.. Also I invented some sort of press from one large puller I had around. The rest was easy peasy.. :D Thanks for the video, it was inspiring!
@@bogdanbelciu6242 glad you got it done! Yes it’s a pain in the ass sometimes but we gotta work with what we have lol. Suntem români până la urmă, trebuie să le rezolvăm lol
That's why I love my old fjr,I do that to Harley's all the time and it never gets old.
Hey where can I find those pipes?

Here are the torque specs: Front Wheel: Axle = 52 ft-lbs Two Pinch bolts = 15 ft-lbs (The inside pinch bolt is tightened first) Front brake caliper to forks = 29 ft-lbs Front speed sensor front brake hose holder bolt = 5.1 ft-lbs Rear Wheel: Axle Nut (27 mm)= 90 ft-lbs Pinch bolt = 18 ft-lbs Brake torque rod = 22 ft-lbs Speed sensor = 5.2 ft-lbs Hope that helps...
Thanks!
Everything what you could you're have made wrong 😂
I got a 2007 Tmax 500 a few months ago as my first bike, I really like it. Just pull the throttle and go, I thought this would be good for learning until I get the balance and all that. I'll use it to pass my test and maybe get something different as it's not physically in the best shape due to it's age and heavy use and 50,000 miles but it's fine for learning and it's got more than enough power. Maxi scooters are not that popular here in Ireland sadly so it's hard to find a good one with low miles for a decent price.
I absolutely loved the tmax 500. If I had more money I would get one just to have it. Such a fun bike
The camera was not showing how you screwed in the bolt, camera was too high.
I don't even think it's that. A lot of times things like this are done on purpose bc they assume you're a pos. Usually sport bikes are seen doing 120 weaving traffic.
Not all riders are the same and the bad ones give us a bad rep… unfortunately
Do you still have this Pack Mule? How do those pipe sound now with 2 years of season on them? I wish I could hear them on a Road test, Only Harley Guys do drive by road test someone needs to catch on out there with Jap bikes and do the same when they put pipes on their Scooters. Thx for the vid it was fun to watch
Thank you for the video. I do have a few questions. I see you just filled and capped your forks. Did you have any concerns about any air getting inside when you were filling it back up? I see some people have pumped the forks to “get the air out”. Do you know if you have the stock springs or not?
Some goldwings have schrader valves on top of the forks to add air pressure as well. I filled mine up with 5psi, it helps stiffen the suspension a little.
@@MotoRoUsa I just started working on replacing my oil and my bike doesn’t have the valves so I had to open it up to replace the oil. What I’ve found out is, it seems that it has progressive springs. I’m not too familiar with them but I can see it’s two springs. One longer than the other. To my knowledge, the stock Honda spring is only one spring then a spacer but…I could be wrong haha
@@adrianb1655 while you’re at it, research how to add the valves to the fork caps. Easy to do just drill and add the valve with a nut and rubber seal and you should be good. It’ll be easier to change the oil too since you don’t have to take the caps off just take the valves out of the stem
I though I saw you leaving. Missed you by a minute. ))
I’ll be there Sunday!
I drive my zx14 like noone can see, me and they are all drunk..
I like the video but there really wasn’t much of an explanation on how you did it. Do you have a full length video of the install?
Basically I had a mid pipe from a Yamaha fjr ( 1 3/4” ) and I cut a piece to make the connection from collector pipe to the new muffler. The muffler bracket I made out of a piece of metal and I drilled the bar under the saddlebag and secured it with a bolt that way. Make sure the connector pipe you cut has a 45° angle so mufflers would be paralel with the bike and not flare out.
@@MotoRoUsa Thank you bro!
Hi! Why did Avior place a piece of wood underneath the rear tire, thank you for your reply?
To relieve some of the pressure from the shock so I can take out the bolts easier. As far as I remember lol
Thanks!@@MotoRoUsa
Thats a sweet car.
It is. Thanks man
Hi! finally did you reassemble the bolt (ABS side) on the same side or what? Thank you!
Yes, I had to because I didn’t want to mess with the treads… I thought it’s going to mess them up since the spacing is different on the sides… I suppose could’ve change the whole bolt to a different one but I kept it the way it was designed..
Hey where’s all the other videos you mentioned was looking forward to them I have the same bike and have enjoyed following you
They are on my channel. Look under my videos they’re all there. It’s finished now so you can see latest updates on the project
